Austin Partners In Education delivers best-practice, scalable, and results-driven learning models in math, reading, and college readiness to a student population that is predominantly low income. Each year, APIE brings more than 1,500 community volunteers into Austin ISD schools to support students at pivotal junctures in their education, adding to the quality and capacity of Austin ISD’s campus programs and providing a vital extension of academic and social/emotional support to students. APIE students benefit from same-level, small group instruction from a dedicated cadre of volunteers drawn from over 200 Austin area government agencies, businesses, and community organizations.
“Austin Partners In Education is a critical partner with the Austin Independent School District. With APIE, community volunteers support our students and our schools by tutoring, mentoring and providing college readiness services. We are grateful for our partnership and look forward to our continued work with APIE.” Dr. Paul Cruz, Austin ISD Superintendent
